Who are we?

Titan Rover is a diverse team composed of engineering, computer science, natural science, and business students from California State University, Fullerton.

Our dedicated team works year-round to design, build, and test a prototype Mars Exploration Rover (MER) with the intent of competing in the annual University Rover Challenge (URC). The University Rover Challenge is an international collegiate competition that takes place annually near the Mars Desert Research Station, located just outside of Hanksville, Utah. Rovers are expected to complete four tasks: execute an on-board science analysis, engage in extreme retrieval and delivery, perform equipment servicing, and conduct autonomous traversal.

As competition requirements and competitors toughen, we strive to improve our platform's capabilities. This is where your gift can help!

With your support, we will be able to:

  • Invest in better hardware for our robotic platform
  • Manufacture custom mechanical components, create carbon fiber panels, and wooden models for testing
  • Afford the costs of housing and travel for the competition

Just by supporting our team, we not only are stronger competitors in the competition, but are gaining hands-on experience, knowledge, and soft skills needed for the professional workforce. Thank you for making a difference for our Titan Rover team!
