Description

Launch the Next Generation of Mathematicians!

Thanks to the generosity of Armando Martinez-Cruz, the first $500 in donations have been matched dollar-for-dollar!

Department Chair, Adam Glesser, will match the next $500!

The Mathematics Summer Research Program supports Titan mathematicians with fellowships to pursue impactful summer research experiences. Students are paired with a faculty mentor during their session and also have the opportunity to present at a prestigious national conference. The fellowship covers their summer research work and a travel stipend. The department is looking to support additional students for this experience in Summer 2027.

Through summer fellowships, students work closely with faculty mentors on meaningful research in their chosen areas of study, develop the confidence to tackle rigorous academic challenges, and have the opportunity to present their findings at the prestigious Joint Mathematics Meeting in Chicago. This immersive experience allows students to engage in the full research process while building lasting relationships with faculty and fellow student researchers.

Your support can open this transformative opportunity to more students in Summer 2027. Donations help provide research fellowships and travel stipends, giving students the resources to pursue their work, strengthen their written and oral communication skills, prepare for graduate school and future careers, and contribute to a thriving mathematics research community at CSUF.

A gift of any size can make a big difference—help more Titan mathematicians discover their potential, share their ideas on a national stage, and take the next step toward their future. Thank you for your support!
