Mechanical Engineering Capstone Design projects give CSUF students the opportunity to turn classroom knowledge into real-world solutions. As a year-long, high-impact learning experience, 30–40 student teams across multiple sections will design and build physical models and prototypes while tackling complex engineering challenges. These collaborative projects challenge students to apply their technical expertise while developing the project management, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills that employers value.
