Native American & Indigenous, & LGBTQ Resource Center 2026
Description
CSUF’s centers create meaningful opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to learn, connect, and celebrate the rich cultural experiences of Native American, Indigenous, and LGBTQIA+ communities. By honoring diverse identities, traditions, and lived experiences, we help students thrive academically, personally, and professionally while developing the confidence and leadership skills to make a difference on campus and beyond. One powerful opportunity is participation in the Bay Area American Indian Two-Spirits (BAAITS) Pow Wow, the world’s only public Two-Spirit pow wow—a unique experience where students can connect with Indigenous leaders, engage in cultural education, and build a deeper understanding of traditions and communities.
Your support can make this transformative experience accessible to more students. Donations will help cover travel and lodging for CSUF students and staff attending the BAAITS Pow Wow, removing financial barriers that might otherwise prevent participation. Students will return with knowledge, perspectives, and connections they can share with the broader CSUF community, helping strengthen a culture of understanding and inclusion. Give today and help students celebrate culture, embrace their identities, build meaningful connections, and grow into the compassionate and informed leaders our communities need.
