Department of Geological Sciences 2026

For 60 years, the Geology Department has inspired students to explore the Earth, understand the forces that shape our world, and prepare for careers that make a difference. As we celebrate this incredible milestone, we invite our alumni, friends, faculty, and community to help us honor our legacy while investing in the future of geology. This anniversary is more than a celebration of our past—it is an opportunity to strengthen the experiences and opportunities that help today’s students become tomorrow’s scientists, researchers, educators, and environmental leaders.

Your gift can help our geology majors go further. Funding will positively impact our students by helping provide resources and experiences that enrich their education, strengthen their professional preparation, and bring their learning beyond the classroom. Every contribution helps create opportunities for students to explore, discover, and pursue their passion for understanding our planet. Celebrate 60 years of geological discovery with us and give today to help shape the next generation of Earth scientists.
