Arboretum and Botanical Garden at CSUF 2026

It’s TreeTober at the Arboretum!

31 days. Over 2,000 trees. One incredible living collection.

Thanks to a generous donor, your donation will be matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000!

This October, we’re celebrating and highlighting the trees at the Arboretum and Botanical Garden at CSUF—and we’re asking you to help us care for the gentle giants we all adore.

Your local community greenspace and favorite study spot, Arboretum and Botanical Garden at CSUF, an ArbNet Level IV Arboretum, is home to over 2,000 trees across 26 acres, and caring for them takes more than sunshine and rain. Our “tree huggers”- staff, students and volunteers alike- provide expert, year-round care to protect and nurture this extraordinary living collection.

We care for over 2,000 trees here. Your gift helps make this work possible—from specialized tree care and pruning to equipment, maintenance, conservation, and the expertise needed to care for trees that may be here for generations.

So this TreeTober, give a little love to the trees that give us so much. Make a donation. Follow along. Fall in love with a tree.
