Our centers support all CSUF students, staff, and faculty, with a special focus on creating and highlighting culturally significant educational opportunities that honor the experiences of Native American, Indigenous, Two - Spirit and LGBTQIA+ communities. We live out this mission by empowering students to thrive academically, personally, and professionally through education and engagement; by celebrating the accomplishments, cultural wealth, and lived experiences of our diverse student communities; and by strengthening the university’s ability to provide meaningful support for student growth and success. In doing so, our work prepares students to develop their leadership, embrace their identities with confidence, and contribute as future leaders in their communities and beyond.

Why do you need funding? We need funding to cover travel and lodging for CSUF students and staff to attend the Bay Area American Indian Two-Spirits (BAAITS) Pow Wow, the world’s only public Two-Spirit pow wow. Donations will remove financial barriers and make it possible for students to participate in this one-of-a-kind cultural experience, connect with other leaders, and bring back knowledge to share with their peers and the wider campus. This opportunity directly supports our mission by empowering students to thrive academically, personally, and professionally through engagement in meaningful cultural education; by celebrating the accomplishments, traditions, and lived experiences of Native American, Indigenous, and LGBTQIA+ communities; and by building the university’s capacity to uplift diverse student voices. Support for this project ensures that students gain the confidence, cultural understanding, and community connections that prepare them to become leaders on campus and beyond.
