The Titan Dreamers Resource Center (TDRC) serves the undocumented student community at CSUF.
Undocumented students face unique financial challenges due to their immigration status, which often limits their access to traditional financial aid, federal loans, and many scholarship opportunities. Without DACA or work authorization, many students cannot legally work to support themselves through school, making it even harder to cover basic needs like tuition, rent, food, and transportation.
Additionally, these students often encounter unexpected immigration-related expenses, such as legal fees or the need to renew documents, further straining their financial situation. Emergency grants and scholarships are crucial in helping undocumented students stay enrolled, succeed academically, and meet essential living expenses. By providing these resources, we can help reduce the financial barriers that disproportionately affect undocumented students and ensure they have the opportunity to achieve their educational goals without the constant burden of financial insecurity.
To continue offering tangible resources, we need funding to provide scholarships and emergency support for these students. Our goal is to reduce barriers and increase access for undocumented students.
