The Student California Teachers Association (SCTA) at CSUF is dedicated to inspiring and preparing the next generation of educators and educational professionals. Whether aspiring to be teachers, librarians, social workers, or college faculty members, SCTA equips future leaders with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to navigate the path to becoming committed educators. Through workshops, information sessions, and hands-on learning experiences, we provide essential resources to help students understand their rights, responsibilities, and the professional systems they’ll be a part of.
Your generous donations will help us build a stronger community of future educators by funding social events, professional development workshops, and collaborative learning opportunities. For example, our “How to Become a Substitute Teacher” workshop guides members through the complex process of gaining classroom experience. Donations also cover the fees and materials for the annual Road to Teaching Conference, a pivotal event where members expand their skills and knowledge, preparing them for various roles in education.
