The Geological Sciences Department at Cal State Fullerton has a long history of alumni engagement through participation in events and donations that provide critical support for the next generation of geologists and Earth scientists. Our current effort will raise funds to supply grants that directly support undergraduate research and graduate travel.
Our crowdfunding effort is taking place in conjunction with our annual Alumni Reunion on October 4th, 2024 at Chapman Crafted in the City of Orange from 6-10 pm. We hope to see you at the event, but even if you can’t make it, you can still have an impact on our current and future students.
Through alumni support over the last few years, we’ve been able to create scholarship endowments and increase the distributed amounts of many of the named scholarships in our department. This year, we look to further enhance undergraduate student research and graduate student travel to meetings through grants funded by your generous donations.
Thank you for your consideration and support of the Geological Sciences Department and for playing a role in the future success of our students!
