Passage to the Future is a dynamic program providing students, primarily first generation, with career exploration and preparation activities and culminating with an internship at an Orange County business or organization. The program includes a fellowship helping reduce other job responsibilities so the students can focus on their internship and career success.
Passage to the Future also hosts the Titans Reach Higher weekend in Spring and serves to provide students with an immersive experience with alumni and industry leaders at an off-site at a corporate campus or headquarters. It gives these students an opportunity to see first-hand what it would be like to work in certain careers and industries. During Titan Reach Higher weekend students conduct panel conversations with alumni and professionals on topics such as: what skills can Humanities and Social Sciences students bring to STEM industries; what makes a great interview; how to navigate the HR process. They also practice their interview skills and networking skills. Students leave confident and prepared for success in an internship or post-graduation job. Please help us fund this invaluable program.
