The National Resource Center for Asian Languages (NRCAL) provides book writing competitions in Asian languages for students ages 5-18. Children who are fluent in these Asian languages can write stories that are representative of their language and culture. Our CSUF art students help make this project special by providing illustrations for the book! .
We need your help to provide prizes and hire the Cal State Fullerton illustration students to work on the books. The books will even be published and available for purchase! Donations will go towards the important work of creating resources that represent Asian American experiences in various Asian languages such Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Khmer (Cambodian).
Give and help cover the costs of award prizes, snacks, translation, compensation of art students and printing of books!
