The LGBT Queer Resource Center is already looking forward to hosting our second Tusk Ball!
Tusk Ball is a competition that is honoring the ballroom scene that originated in the black and brown queer community and provides an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to learn about and participate in ballroom culture. Students will showcase their talents and perform in various categories related to vogue and fashion.
This program promotes and provides a space for students, particularly queer/trans students of color, to celebrate and explore identity and fashion in an exciting environment. It is important that this program remains as historically authentic as possible, as well as provide students with a safe space to comfortably explore creative expression.
You donations will contribute to hiring professional members of the LGBTQ Ballroom Community to educate our students as well as contribute to wardrobe supplies needed for students to perform!
