Please donate to support our summer undergraduate research program!!!

Last summer we launched our 1st annual Summer Undergraduate Research experience for our rising 1st year chemistry and biochemistry majors.  Students were placed in research labs to begin their research journey and gain valuable research experience while also building a sense of community with each other and other research students.  This was a great opportunity for our freshman to begin their research experience early and maximize the transformative experience that research provides!  The program was a success and the department intends to continue the program, but needs your help!

As alumni you understand how important research was to your educational experience and would like your support of our students.  We want to continue providing the opportunity for our freshman to begin their research experience in the summer and need your help.

Your gift will be used to:

1. Pay for an undergraduate student to work in a research lab during the summer to help them gain research experience and transform their education at CSUF.
2. Purchase supplies and materials for summer undergraduate research.   
3. Provide funds for students to present their research results at scientific conferences.

Your generosity will help provide a high quality laboratory experience that will impact a student's academic and career success.
