The Geological Sciences Department at Cal State Fullerton has a long history of alumni engagement through participation in events and donations that provide critical support for the next generation of geologists and Earth scientists. Our current effort will raise funds to directly support our students through scholarships and awards. Funding will be used to help enhance and endow several of our scholarships.
Our crowdfunding effort is taking place in conjunction with our annual Alumni Reunion on October 7th, 2022 at Dave & Buster's in the City of Orange from 7-11 pm, as well as a Zoom Happy Hour on Friday October 14th from 5-6 pm PDT. We hope to see you at either or both events, but even if you can't make it, you can still have an impact on our current and future students.
Through alumni support over the last few years, we’ve been able to create scholarship endowments and increase the distributed amounts of many of the named scholarships in our department. This year, we look to further enhance scholarship funding and support student participation in field camp.
